The Harbourside Hotel is a family operated business offering Bed & Breakfast. We can cater for a maxumum of 21 guests.  We also offer golf holidays and whisky distillery tours . The seaside town of Irvine is situated 7 miles north of Glasgow Prestwick Airport. The cosmopolitan area of Irvine Harbourside has five bars and restaurants, all located within 400 yards, a further 400 yards takes you to Irvine's popular sandy beach. We are located next to Irvine railway station.

We are now offering FREE transport from Glasgow Prestwick Airport to the Harbourside Hotel with all Ryanair flights. A minimum of 2 nights stay is required for this service.

Within the harbourside you will find the Magnum Leisure Centre , with swimming pool, ice skating, health and fitness suite and kids play area.

The Scottish Maritime Museum is another popular harbourside visitor attraction. A short walk away takes you to Irvine's undercover shopping mall with over 60 shops.

Irvine train station is conveniently situated with regular trains to Prestwick in 15 minutes and Glasgow in 35 minutes. The Rivergate Shopping Centre is only 300 yards from Harbourside Hotel and has over 60 shops undercover. Irvine is home to Open Championship Qualifying Courses, Irvine Golf Club and Glasgow Gailes. Royal Troon is only 4 miles away. Irvine has a population of over 30,00 and has an incredible 8 golf courses. There are few destinations that can beat the choices of courses Irvine has to offer. Open Qualifying courses : Western Gailes, Glasgow Gailes and Irvine Bogside with Dundonald Links hosting many tournaments since it opened in 2000.

We offer distillery tours form the 3 regions capable of reaching within 2 hours. Auchentoshan a Lowland Whisky is less than one hours drive. Isle of Arran, an island whisky, less than 2 hours travel by land and sea . Glengoyne, highland whisky, less than 2 hours drive. Distillery tours start at £30.00 per person.

At The Harbourside Hotel we offer a wide range of flexible accommodation,  We offer a  FREE courtesy bus service to Glasgow Prestwick airport for Ryaniar passengers for a minimum 2 night stay, one one night stay there is a minimal one off charge of £10.00, for our bus, not per person.

There is Riverside shopping mall only 300 yards with over 60 shops undercover, featuring Asda, Tesco, M & S, Primark, Next clearance, Boots to name a few. We are located next to Irvine railway station, where trian operate every 30 minutes. Glasgow in 40 minutes and Ayr 25 minutes. We offer 24 hour check in, if clients are arriving late or out of hours we issue you with a security code to access the building. All rooms en suite, colour tv, vcr, complimentary vcr library, FREE wifi, hairdrier, ironing facilities, radio alarm clock and tea coffee facilities. TV room is open 24 hours and has complimentary tea coffee facilities, guest can use wifi in the tv room.

The Harbourside Hotel is only minutes walk to Irvine Harbour with uninterupted views of Bogside flats bird conservation site with over 50 pairs of swans, grey herons, oyster catchers, geese, ducks, shags, gannets (offshore) cormorants etc and their are at least 6 seals that can be seen from the Marina Inn towards the River Garnock. Irvine's popular sandy beach is only 500 yards, the golden sand extends to Troon which is 4 miles in distance. Marina in is in a great location next to Magnum leisure centre, Award winning Ship Inn for good traditional food, Hacbar, Irvine watersports club and Harbour Lights bar which host Irvine Folk Club, Tuesday night Live jam session.

Although we do not offer food, we recommend award winning Ship Inn, next to Marina Inn and close to Harbourside Hotel. The newly opened Hacbar is popular.
